There is some great work to get meals to our kids
The medicaid argument is for the Legislature. It is unprecedented the level of communication as we deal with the healthcare crisis in our State. We are in a different State than New York . . .
There is billions of dollars in the budget for hospitals
Give block grants to the State so we can put the money where we need it
We will work with Appropriations and we will be flexible to help all Georgians
We are thankful for the lab technicians, and all those who are helping with this virus
We need equipment prevention
Protect the medically fragile
We must close down bars and night clubs
You do not need to hold any large events
I was on a call with faith leaders across our State
I asked them to do on line services
Now, people are doing online church, just like drive-in theaters
I promise the people of our State, we are doing everything we can to get testing. We have 23 Testing Sites
I have talked to someone today who has something really neat going on and I have to wait . . .
I am very emphatehtic to workers and small businessess
We have an unprecedented amounts who cannot do
Mark Butler and I have talked to help working Georgians, by no fault of their own
This is a time where we have to pull together and support those individuals
Help is on the way. I hope as early as April 6th

Tonight, Governor Brian Kemp will host a statewide virtual town hall meeting to answer questions about COVID-19’s spread across Georgia. The meeting will also feature Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Dr. Kathleen Toomey of the Georgia Department of Health, Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency Director Homer Bryson, and Georgia Insurance Commissioner John King (each broadcasting from a separate location). The questions will come from journalists “based on submissions from the public,” according to the governor’s office, and will be broadcast locally at 8 p.m. on GPB, WSBTV, Fox 5, 11Alive, CBS 46, Univision, and Telemundo.
